     "More than 24 million men (male citizens and alien declarants) between the ages of eighteen and forty-five - approximately 23 percent of the population in 1918 - registered in three distinct World War I drafts.  Not all men who registered for the draft actually served in the military, and not all men who served in the military registered for the draft...Local boards were established for approximately 30,000 persons in each city or county with a population of more than 30,000."   - The Source

     In Lynn there were 3 draft boards which included over 20,000 registrants.  Please keep in mind that these records are hand written and some are hard to read and therefore some mistakes, although unintentional, do exist.  Other information that may exist on the original record may include employement, current address, contact person, physical description, etc...
